Douglas’s work begins in the early afternoon. He starts his day by sterilizing all his tattoo equipment to ensure utmost hygiene.
His customers include both walk-in and appointment-basis types. When a customer decides on a design, Douglas will print it out and sketch onto the customer’s body before he tattoo. After tattooing, the customer can rest in a private room till he is ready to leave the shop.
There are also many instances whereby a customer fails to turn up for an appointment, due to a change in mind for tattooing. He has also encountered drunken customers who request him for a tattoo. He would always advise them to think twice and come back when they are sober.
His working hours are irregular; he can end work as late as 11.00pm.
